Hey Girl, Welcome Back!

Ever feel like you need a whole Saturday morning free to work on your business?

Like, you look at your to-do list and think “I need at least three hours to get this done,” so you just… don’t do it.

Because who has three hours?

Between work, kids, life, and trying to sleep sometimes, you’re lucky if you get three minutes.

I know that feeling.

You close your laptop thinking “I’ll do this when I have more time” and then weeks go by.

You never have more time.

It feels like real progress only happens when you have those perfect long work sessions.

But here’s the truth: tiny moves create bigger shifts than waiting for perfect timing.

You’re building momentum, not just checking boxes.

TL;DR

Ten focused minutes of the right thing beats three hours of someday-maybe thinking.

Why Tiny Moves Create Bigger Shifts Than Perfect Timing

1. Small actions add up in ways you can’t see

When you leave a helpful comment in a group, maybe three other people see it.

When you share something useful on your stories, someone might save it to come back to later.

Or maybe nobody notices at all that day.

These things happen behind the scenes sometimes, but it’s messy and unpredictable.

You might help someone and they hire someone else. You might post something once and get a client from it.

You never really know what’s going to work.

But staying visible gives you more chances than disappearing completely.

At least you’re in the game when something does happen. And it will happen!

2. You think your scattered time doesn’t count

You see someone posting about their three-hour Sunday work blocks.

Meanwhile, you’re trying to post something helpful during lunch.

Here’s the thing: most of those long sessions turn into overthinking.

They get stuck trying to make everything perfect.

The people actually getting clients?

They work with whatever time they have.

3. Being visible builds trust faster than being perfect

Your ideal clients need to see you helping people before they’ll consider working with you.

One helpful comment here.

One useful post there.

One helpful message to someone in your network.

These moments can add up over time, but trust is tricky - it doesn’t follow a formula.

Some people hire based on recommendations.

Others need to see you solve problems repeatedly.

Some want polished websites, others just want to know you get their situation.

There’s no single path, but disappearing for weeks definitely doesn’t help your case.

4. Moving forward matters more than big wins

You’re not trying to go viral.

This isn’t about some big breakthrough moment.

It’s about staying in motion until the right opportunity shows up.

Someone who shows up helpfully every day for a month will be in a better spot when something good happens.

Way better than someone who does everything at once and then disappears for weeks.

Trust me, I’ve been on both sides - ghosting and being inconsistent at one point, and being consistent and gaining traction on the other.

Moving forward beats standing still, even when it feels slow.

Your Focus This Week

Okay, here’s what we’re doing this week:

Spend 20 minutes on Sunday planning where you’ll show up, then do one thing daily.

During that planning, pick seven specific places—groups to comment in, people to engage with, posts to interact with (see where I said places and not platforms?).

That way, each day you’ll have one clear action to take.

Then each day, just follow through on that one thing. Leave that comment. Respond to that post. Share that tip.

Once you sit down for your 10 minutes, you’ll probably keep going for 15–20 because you get into a groove.

But even if you only do 10 minutes each day, that’s still 70 minutes of real client-getting work every week.

You got this—progress beats perfect every single time.
